Comica Seekcom S1 supports cascade extension, one host unit can connect to 4 guest units simultaneously. For more users, the SC60 extension cable is needed. 

3. Improved System Stability

Several known issues have been fixed, the overall operation will more stable and smoother.

To ensure a smooth firmware upgrade, please prepare the following items before starting:

• A computer
• A USB data cable
• The Seekcom S1 device to be upgraded
• The latest firmware upgrade package

1. Go to the Comica official website.

Click Support→ Download → Firmware Upgrade→ Wireless Intercom System:

2. Download the latest version of the S1 firmware upgrade package.

Step 1: Enter Upgrade Mode

1. Ensure the S1 is powered off.

2. Press and hold the "+" button and the "power" button simultaneously. The device will enter Upgrade (Copy) mode.

* Notice: To upgrade the entire S1 system, please upgrade in sequence. It is recommended to upgrade the host first, then upgrade the guest. It can ensure a stable upgrade process.

Step 2: Connect to Computer

Use a USB data cable to connect the S1 to your computer. After connection, the computer will automatically recognize the device and display it as "A new USB device".

Step 3: Copy Upgrade Files

1. Open the S1 USB device displayed on your computer and navigate to its root directory (the first screen you see after opening).

2. Copy/drag the entire "update" folder from the downloaded firmware package to this root directory.

3. If the system prompts "Overwrite files?", select "Yes" or "Replace".

Step 4: Complete Upgrade

1. Waiting for the complete file copy, then eject the USB device safely and disconnect from the computer.

2. Hold and press the power button to restart the S1. The device will upgrade automatically.

3. During the upgrade process, the progress bar on the screen will cycle 3 times. It's a normal process, please do not interrupt it.

4. The device will auto shutdown after the upgrade is completed.

5. Power on the device again to get a smooth S1 intercom system.
