It is a "brand-new shotgun mic" initiatively created by Comica, and it is also the second "wireless shotgun mic" on the market after VM30. VM40 integrates the wireless characteristics of traditional wireless mics and the professional sound quality of shotgun mics. More importantly, VM40 comes with wireless dual-channel recording, bringing more creative possibilities.

VM40 can be used in Wemedia video shooting, short drama shooting, micro-film shooting, TVC film recording, multi-person interviews, professional live streaming (such as clothing ), and high-end wedding film recording since it can back up audio smoothly.

The recording time is approximately 40 hours. The storage method is segmented storage, and a file will be archived every 1 hour during recording. The format is wave format, which's file suffix is .wav.

To prevent accidental deletion, the shotgun mic must be turned off first. Then, long-press the "REC Button" and the "Power Button" simultaneously to enter the copy mode. Finally, connect to a computer or smartphone to copy the file.

Yes, it can be connected to the Comica Audio APP. Here are the specific steps:

① Search and download the "Comica Audio" App in your mobile app store or scan the QR code to download it through the official website.

② Turn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone

③ Open the App to search and pair device VM40

④ The receiver and transmitter can be set and operated through the App

Yes, you can operate the app to change the setting. If the speaker icon is displayed on the screen, it means the phone speaker monitoring is on. If not, it means the RX headphone monitoring is on.

Please use a 5V 2A charger to charge the VM40 mic and receiver. Normally, it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to fully charge the VM40 whole set.

The dual-channel version can record two channels of audio files, providing more space for post-production and higher  sound quality for professional recording.
