Since the release of Comica EJoy D10 and D10 PRO, we have received many questions about them. Today, we will answer 8 frequently asked questions to help you start content creation with confidence!
Q1: What’s the difference between dynamic mic and condenser mic?
Dynamic mic and condenser mic have different characteristics due to their different working principles.
① Dynamic mic has good performance in noise resistance and high sound pressure. It is often used in live performances, broadcasting, guitar amplifiers, and other musical instrument occasions.
② Condenser mic has high sensitivity and a wide frequency response. It is often used in video, live streaming, daily recording, ASMR, string music, piano, and other recording occasions.
③ Condenser mic relies on external power to work (such as USB device power supply, 48V phantom), while the dynamic mic can transmit audio signals through analog output.

Q3: Does the dual-channel version require a sound card?
No need to connect with a sound card. EJoy D10 PRO dual-channel version can be used in sync to improve working efficiency.
Q4: If I have purchased one-channel version, can I purchase another one and use as dual-channel version?
The one-channel version cannot be upgraded to a dual-channel version since they have different processing modules. Users are advised to choose the appropriate microphone version according to the usage environment.
Q5: What devices can EJoy D10 series connect to?
They are widely compatible with devices like computers/smartphones/audio interfaces/recorders/mixers, etc.
XLR Analog Output
USB-C Digital Output
Q6: Why are some functions unusable in XLR analog output?
Since the microphone only transmits analog audio in XLR output and no external power supply is needed. However, the RGB light effect, gain control, and denoise functions require an external power supply or USB-C power supply, and 48V phantom power is not enough to drive them. Therefore, it must connect with a mobile phone/computer and switch to USB digital output mode to use these functions.
Q7: Does D10 PRO need to switch on 48V phantom power when connected to external devices?
EJoy D10 PRO is a dynamic microphone that can achieve basic audio transmission without a power supply.
Q8: What if the mic sound is too low?
1. Keep the mic within 15m from the sound source and ensure the correct sound pickup direction.
2. Adjust the microphone gain and monitoring volume to an appropriate level in digital mode. ( Notice: it cannot be adjusted in analog mode)
