In order to record multiple audio sources, Vimo Q has four channels. This not only breaks through the limitation of dual channels but also supports diverse functions, making it an all-round microphone.
In multi-people shooting and recording scenarios, audio track export in post-production is highly repetitive and time-consuming work.
To make this work easier, Vimo Q has made new upgrades to the audio output! Not only does it support the mixing output of four audio tracks, but also supports individual output of four audio tracks in Quad mode, representing the real audio state in real-time.
Mixing Output: Mono Mode
Vimo Q supports combining four audio tracks into one audio track, so the sound from four transmitters is mixed as mono audio.
This mode supports fast film production and is suitable for events, short videos, and other scenes that do not require excessive sound processing in the later stage.
Individual Output: Quad Mode
In Quad mode, the four audio tracks were output separately, so the sounds recorded by the four transmitters will be independent audio.
The newly upgraded individual output mode makes the sound presentation more detailed and professional. It is suitable for melodrama, short videos, or multi-person interviews that require separate sound processing in the post-production period (this mode can also be used when connected to a multi-track recorder).
Which Mode Is Better?
In Quad mode, each audio track is independent and can be adjusted individually in post-production. Adjusting one audio will not affect other audios, and you can also select some sounds for mixing as needed.
Mono mode only needs one audio cable to transmit four audio tracks, which is convenient and fast to operate. It also eliminates the trouble of synchronizing audio in post-production, greatly reducing the work. You can choose the appropriate mode according to your needs to make the work process more efficient.
