All-in-One Shotgun Microphone

Today, Comica announces the launch of Super-Cardioid Transformable All-in-One Shotgun Mic -----Traxshot. The naming was inspired by the Chevrolet TRAX series in the movie Transformers. Trax means it's transformable! And the Shot stands for the shotgun microphone. Compared with traditional shotgun mics, the Traxshot makes a great innovation and promotion in appearance and function.

Comica has been committed to designing smaller and more integrated audio equipment for users. The newly released Traxshot weighs 130g, sizes in 122*65*62mm, and is equipped with adjustable 2 mics supporting four sound pickup modes changing. Users can adjust the position of the 2 mics to select the optimal recording mode to meet different shooting needs.

Mono Mode

Mono Mode, dual mics of Traxshot can complement and overlap the input sound signal for each other, and make the frequency response more stable. The audio is more uniform. It is usually suitable for single subject tour video and vlog shooting.

Stereo 1-30° Stereo Mode

Stereo 1-30° Stereo Mode, also known as V-type stereo mode, recording width from 300° to 330°. This configuration covers a stereo width equivalent to the image created by common 35-mm camera lenses. The spread is very uniform and delivers high speech intelligibility in its focus. Generally used for environment sound recording, videography, etc.

Stereo 2-90° Stereo Mode

Stereo 2-90° Stereo Mode, shows the most common type of mic position layout - the "X/Y" layout. With S2 stereo mode, the Traxshot captures a wider range of sounds, and the sound will be more balanced. It is an excellent choice for the effect sound recording, party, music live, concert, etc.

Bi-directional Mode

Bi-directional Mode, adjusting the dual mics to the front and rear positions to realize bi-directional sound pickup. It is especially fit for interviews and podcasts and other situations that record with two subjects.

Patented Air-float Shock-absorption

Except for the incomparable 4 pick-up modes, the Traxshot adopts all-around air-float shock-absorption. It removes the disadvantage that traditional Rycote shock mounts only absorb shock in front and rear, greatly enhances the stability of recording. This technology has been patented.
