Don't know where to start when you first come into use an audio interface? No worries, Comica will take you to learn which devices can be connected to Linkflex AD5----a multi-functional audio interface integrated with live broadcast, podcast, and recording.

Interfaces Introduction

There are two USB-C input and output interfaces, two 3.5mm TRRS input and output interfaces, and a pair of 6.35mm output interfaces on the rear panel of AD5. These interfaces can connect up to 5 devices to output audio at the same time.

USB-C Input and Output Interfaces

The AD5 comes with two USBC-USBC/A audio cables, which can be connected to mobile phones, tablets, and computers.

If connecting AD5 to an Apple device with a Lightning interface, please prepare a Lightning adapter or expansion dock that supports the OTG function.

After connecting mobile phones, tablets, and computers, AD5 will be automatically set as the default input and output device by the system without installing any software or making any settings. At this time, the sound of AD5 can be input into the mobile phone and computer, and the sound of the mobile phone and computer can also be output to AD5.

When the LoopBack function is turned on, the AD5 can mix the audio from the computer and the audio from the microphone, then output it to the mobile phone/computer.

When connected to a computer, you can set the default input and output devices in the system settings, making it easier to perform live broadcasting, mixing, and other operations.

3.5mm TRRS In/Out Interfaces

The 3.5mm TRRS interfaces of AD5 can not only connect to mobile phones, tablets, and computers but also cameras, mixers, etc. When connected to a mobile phone, tablet, or computer through the 3.5mm TRRS-TRRS audio cable, AD5 can output the sound of the microphone to the mobile phone/tablet/computer while inputting the sound of the mobile phone/tablet/computer to other devices. During the live broadcast, the accompaniment or background music can be played in this way.

When connecting to cameras, mixers, switchers, and other devices, please check whether these devices support the 3.5mm TRRS audio cable. If not, you need to prepare a 3.5mm TRRS-TRS audio cable and connect the TRRS end to AD5. Note: in this case, only the sound of AD5 can be transmitted to devices such as cameras.

6.35mm Audio Output Interfaces

The two 6.35mm audio output interfaces of AD5 can be connected to monitor speakers, mixers, and other equipment. When connecting the monitor speakers and the mixer, it is necessary to distinguish the left and right channels.
