How to quickly get started and make

STA-U1 your productive tool?

Learn how to use STA-U1 by following the tutorial!

Accessories

STA-U1 is a desktop cardioid condenser USB microphone, which can bring the ultimate sound quality experience for live broadcast, podcasting, recording, gaming, video recording, and more.

Here is the packing list.

Functions

Behind the grid above the microphone is the capsule, and below is the mute button. Short press to mute. When the blue light is on, it is recording, and it's muted when the red light is on.

The protruding circle is the gain/volume knob, which can be rotated to adjust the microphone output gain and monitor volume. The position corresponding to the orange dot is the gain range.

Above the knob is the dynamic RGB light. Blue light shows the range of the current gain. After adjusting the gain for 3 seconds, the audio dynamic bar will light up with the corresponding RGB light effect according to the volume. The red light is a reminder that the current volume is too loud, and it is necessary to reduce the speaking volume or move away from the STA-U1.

On the back of STA-U1 is a USB-C audio output for connecting devices, and a 3.5mm TRS/TRRS headphone jack for monitoring. This monitor jack supports real-time monitoring of the recorded sound as well as the sound returned by the device.

How to Install?

When used with the round base, we need to align the round base with the 3/8 threaded hole at the bottom of the mic, and then rotate and tighten it. You can adjust the angle of the microphone according to your personal needs.

If you need to use it with a suspension boom stand, you need to connect them through the 3/8 threaded hole of the STA-U1, and you can adjust the angle of the microphone according to your personal needs.

When using, the sound source needs to face the logo C, and the recommended distance is 10-25cm. If the sound is loud, it needs to be used at a distance of 40cm, otherwise, it will be easy to pop.

*suspension boom stand needs to be purchased by yourself.

Connecting

When connecting to USB-C or USB-A device, you can use the USB C-USB C/USB A two-in-one audio output cable in the kit.

When connecting to the Lightning device, we need to use the USB-C to Lightning adapter. The Lightning adapter is not included.

When connecting to a computer, we need to adjust the computer's sound settings and select "Comica_STA-U1" as the output and input device.

*When connecting, we need to insert the end of the cable with the magnetic ring into the microphone jack.
